So Cal MakerCon Nov 7, and Barnes and Noble Maker event Nov 8

The weekend of Nov 7-8 will be pretty busy for us. Saturday Nov. 7 we will be at Socal Makercon  and then Nov. 8 we will be at the Montclair Barnes and Noble from about 1 to 5 PM. Hope to see some of you!

Pasadena Connect Week Oct. 24 talk on Citizen Science and Making

 What does the emergence of “maker” technologies like 3D printing, Arduino, and wearable tech mean for people in Pasadena and beyond?  

Joan Horvath and Rich Cameron will give a quick overview of these technologies and how they enable just about anyone to make projects that can contribute to real science projects, address social needs, or allow artistic expression. They have been early adopters themselves and have interviewed many more for their books and will give a view from the front line.
